Vice Admiral Sanjay Bhalla, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief (FOC-in-C), Eastern Naval Command, called on Admiral Krishna Swaminathan, Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS), on 12 June 2026 to discuss key operational and strategic matters concerning the Indian Navy.
During the interaction, the two senior naval leaders reviewed the prevailing maritime security environment and assessed the operational preparedness of the Eastern Naval Command.
