Under the aegis of the Eastern Command, Officer Cadets from the Officers Training Academy (OTA), Gaya, visited the Sikh Regimental Centre at Ramgarh Cantonment as part of their military orientation and leadership development programme.
During the visit, the cadets were introduced to the rich legacy, distinguished battle honours and gallant traditions of the Sikh Regiment, one of the Indian Army’s most decorated infantry regiments. The programme provided an opportunity for the future officers to gain a deeper understanding of the regiment’s illustrious history and contributions to national security.

The cadets were acquainted with the regiment’s ethos, values and proud military heritage, which have been shaped through decades of exemplary service, courage and sacrifice on battlefields across the world.
Through interactions, presentations and exposure to regimental history, the officer cadets gained valuable insights into the traditions and customs that form the foundation of military leadership and esprit de corps within the Indian Army.

The visit also highlighted the importance of regimental identity, discipline and commitment to duty, while reinforcing the core military values of honour, integrity and selfless service.
