Gentleman Cadets of the Officers Training Academy (OTA), Gaya, visited an Infantry Battalion of the Saidpur Brigade under the Golden Key Division as part of the Infantry Orientation Capsule, gaining valuable exposure to contemporary infantry operations and combat preparedness.
The visit provided the cadets with firsthand insights into the operational role of infantry units, modern battlefield requirements and the training methodologies employed to prepare soldiers for diverse operational challenges.

During the interaction, the cadets were briefed on modern infantry tactics, operational procedures and the evolving nature of warfare. They also witnessed cutting-edge training infrastructure designed to enhance combat effectiveness and mission readiness in a dynamic security environment.
The orientation programme enabled the future officers to better understand the capabilities, responsibilities and challenges faced by infantry units, which remain the backbone of the Indian Army’s combat power.
