Lieutenant General Prasanna Kishore Mishra, AVSM, YSM, SM, General Officer Commanding (GOC) White Knight Corps, accompanied by the General Officer Commanding (GOC) Crossed Swords Division, visited Kalidhar Brigade to review the prevailing security environment and assess the formation’s operational preparedness along the frontline.
During the visit, Lt Gen Mishra was briefed on the current security situation, operational deployment and the brigade’s preparedness to respond to evolving threats. The review focused on validating the formation’s combat readiness, operational disposition and response architecture to ensure sustained effectiveness in the challenging operational environment.

Senior commanders presented updates on force integration, mission execution and ongoing initiatives aimed at strengthening operational capability. Discussions covered measures to enhance mission effectiveness, improve coordination among formations and maintain operational dominance through continuous training and preparedness.
The Corps Commander evaluated the brigade’s readiness to undertake a wide spectrum of operational tasks, emphasising the importance of maintaining a robust response capability to address emerging security challenges. Particular attention was given to force integration and seamless coordination required for modern, technology-driven military operations.
Interacting with officers, Junior Commissioned Officers and soldiers, Lt Gen Prasanna Kishore Mishra commended all ranks for their professionalism, unwavering resolve and high morale. He appreciated their dedication to duty and commitment to maintaining the highest standards of operational excellence in demanding conditions.
Addressing the troops, the Corps Commander urged personnel to remain mission-ready, vigilant and adaptable in the face of an evolving security landscape. He stressed that continuous training, operational preparedness and a proactive approach remain essential to maintaining combat superiority and safeguarding national security.

The visit reaffirmed the Indian Army’s commitment to sustaining a high level of operational readiness through rigorous training, integrated operations and constant evaluation of combat capabilities.
