The sixth batch of over 600 Agniveers, selected for the Territorial Army and Assam Rifles, is undergoing intensive and rigorous training at the prestigious 11 Gorkha Rifles Regimental Centre in Lucknow.
The training program, designed as a crucible of discipline and valour, aims to transform young civilians into future soldiers—physically tough, mentally resilient, and imbued with the ethos of ‘Service Before Self’. The Agniveers are being rigorously trained in obstacle courses, bayonet drills, firing ranges, and tactical manoeuvres, honing their skills to meet the high standards of the Indian Armed Forces.
