In a shocking incident that has left the community in disbelief, thieves targeted the home of a retired army officer in Jabalpur. The burglary occurred while 65-year-old Yogendra Tiwari, a resident of Lal Bahadur Shastri Ward in Gohalpur, was away attending to family matters following the recent passing of his mother, Shanti Tiwari.

Tiwari secured his residence before traveling to Belkheda for his mother’s final rites, but unbeknownst to him, while he was away, a group of intruders cut open the back door of his house and systematically ransacked the property. The stolen items included a treasure trove of valuables: gold jewellery estimated to be worth Rs 6.5 lakh, alongside cash totaling Rs 1.4 lakh.
