The Recruit Religious Teachers Course culminated with a Passing Out Parade on January 10, 2026, at the Institute of National Integration (INI), marking the successful completion of 11 weeks of intensive training.

A total of 63 Religious Teachers passed out from the course, having undergone comprehensive preparation aimed at strengthening their professional, moral, and counselling roles within the Indian Army. In addition to their core religious and spiritual duties, the trainees were imparted instruction in psychological counselling, stress management, and yogaโskills critical to supporting the mental well-being of soldiers in diverse operational environments.

The training emphasised the unique role of Religious Teachers as pillars of moral strength, cohesion, and emotional support within units. They are entrusted with fostering unity, resilience, and ethical conduct among troops drawn from varied cultural and religious backgrounds.
Graduating Religious Teachers were described as ambassadors of national integration and religious harmony, reflecting the Armyโs enduring commitment to unity in diversity. The Passing Out Parade symbolised their readiness to serve as guiding influences for soldiers, contributing to morale, cohesion, and the overall combat effectiveness of the force.
