General Upendra Dwivedi, Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), visited the Army Air Defence College to review its advanced training ecosystem and evolving role in shaping India’s air defence capabilities.
During the visit, the Army Chief was briefed on cutting-edge training facilities that integrate modern methodologies with hands-on learning, research, and innovation-driven approaches. The institution’s focus on technology-enabled training reflects the Army’s ongoing transformation to meet future battlefield requirements.

Addressing personnel, Gen Dwivedi highlighted the Indian Army’s transformation roadmap, stressing the increasing importance of multi-domain operations and the need for adaptive leadership to effectively tackle emerging security challenges.
He underscored that future conflicts will demand seamless integration across domains—land, air, cyber, and space—and called for continuous learning and innovation among troops.

The COAS also awarded Commendation Cards to selected personnel in recognition of their outstanding service and contributions.
