Lieutenant General Dhiraj Seth, PVSM, UYSM, AVSM, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of Southern Command, witnessed the culmination of Exercise AMOGH JWALA at the Babina Field Firing Ranges, aimed at validating new operational concepts, force structures and modern warfare protocols.

High-Tempo Mechanised Operations
The exercise, executed by the White Tiger Division, showcased high-tempo mechanised warfare through integrated employment of attack helicopters, fighter aircraft, drones and counter-drone systems, along with advanced battlefield technologies in a multi-domain environment.

Advanced Battlefield Integration
Key highlights included synchronised fire and manoeuvre, real-time drone-based surveillance and target acquisition, and precision engagement capabilities. The seamless integration of Electronic Warfare (EW), Air Defence (AD) and night-fighting capabilities demonstrated the growing strength of a networked and future-ready force.

Emphasis on Future Warfare
Lt Gen Dhiraj Seth commended the troops for their professionalism, operational excellence and combat readiness. He emphasised that technology absorption, jointness and integration across land, air, cyber, space, ISR and EW domains are critical to building an agile and adaptive force capable of dominating modern battlefields.
The exercise reaffirmed the Indian Army’s commitment to transforming into a technologically advanced, multi-domain capable force ready for future conflicts.
