Demonstrating discipline, dedication and professional excellence, 125 Non-Commissioned Officers (NCOs) of the Army Medical Corps (AMC) participated in the Course Ending Ceremonial Parade of the Senior Cadre Course held at the AMC Centre & College on 20 June 2026.
The parade marked the successful culmination of an intensive training programme aimed at enhancing the leadership, administrative and professional capabilities of NCOs serving in the Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS).

The ceremony was reviewed by Major General Anuj Chawla, Commandant and Chief Instructor, Officers Training College, who inspected the parade and congratulated the participants on successfully completing the course.
Addressing the NCOs, Maj Gen Chawla commended them for their commitment, professionalism and perseverance throughout the training period. He encouraged them to continue serving with compassion, humility and unwavering dedication while upholding the proud traditions and values of the Armed Forces Medical Services.

The Senior Cadre Course is designed to strengthen leadership qualities, improve professional competence and prepare NCOs for greater responsibilities within the military healthcare system. The training equips participants with the skills required to effectively support medical operations and contribute to the overall readiness of the Armed Forces.
A highlight of the ceremony was the recognition of outstanding performers. Havildar (DHYG) Ram Kumar of Military Dental Centre, Ranikhet, was adjudged the Best All-Round NCO of the course for his exceptional performance, professionalism and all-round excellence.

The parade reflected the high standards of training and military ethos maintained at the AMC Centre & College, one of the premier institutions responsible for developing medical personnel for the Indian Armed Forces.
Officials noted that the successful completion of the course by the NCOs reinforces the Army Medical Corps’ commitment to professional development, leadership enhancement and operational effectiveness in support of military healthcare services.
The event concluded with a renewed sense of pride and accomplishment as the graduating NCOs prepared to return to their respective units, carrying forward enhanced skills, leadership qualities and a commitment to excellence in service.
