SSB is a process which brings out an Officer from yourself. But some of you make it by getting a recommendation and most of the others gets rejected. Rejection is a bad word you ever want to hear for you. Whether you are a fresher or a Repeater, being conference out is the worst feeling you can ever have. In case of a fresher, being rejected in their first attempt makes them mentally and spiritually broken. But always keep in mind that Success in not final, Failure is not Fatal. It means that your failure is not the ending of your continuous efforts and hard work. So, what to do after you get conference out from the SSB selection center.
Make Sorrow of Your Rejection: Making sorrow of being conferenced out is a normal thing done by the entire candidates. And being a natural phenomenon, there is nothing unique in it. You must feel bad for being rejected. But keep in mind that, that sorrow must be with you only since you board the bus from the SSB center till you reached your home. Soon after you reach your home, stop being sad. The time for being morally weak is over.
Introspect your Mistakes: After reaching your home, hostel, restroom, introspect your mistakes you have done during your 5 days of SSB. In your mind, replay your actions you did in all the SSB activities and try to analyze the mistake that you might have done wrong. Self-introspection is the best way to search out your mistakes.
Share your Failure: It’s better to self-introspect first. But in case you are not able to find out the exact reason for your rejection, your beloved ones will be there to your help. Either they may be your seniors, your friends or your parents, who might have gone through the SSB; you should share your SSB experience with them. Sharing your experiences will help you know your weakness and you will also get lots of new ideas for next SSB.
Make a New Strategy: As of now you have searched out the main reason for your rejection and have ample of ideas you can implement in your next attempt, it’s time for planning a new strategy. Start making your new workout plan which will include ideas you have received from your own mind as well as your known. Create a daily routing which will include your planned strategy.
Get Up and Fight the Battle Again: Now, you are all set to work on your new plan of success. Make a daily routine and start implementing that routine. Work on your weakness and overcome them as soon as possible. Work hard on your weakness and have command on your strong points. Include reading newspaper, practicing psychological exercises, creating new ideas for any problem in your daily life.
